McGrath Rentcorp sourcing service coordinates supplier discovery, quotation comparison, samples, inspection requests, consolidation and export information. Each engagement is defined by a written scope. We do not manufacture buildings, own suppliers, act as the original brand website, or promise authorization from a third party.
You are responsible for supplying accurate use, location, quantity, dimensions, intended occupancy, loads, delivery date and destination requirements. Incomplete information may make indicative quotations unsuitable for an actual order. A supplier proposal should identify assumptions and exclusions before acceptance.
The selected supplier is responsible for its products, manufacturing, technical claims and contractual deliverables. Qualified professionals and the relevant authorities determine structural, fire, energy and accessibility requirements for the destination project. We may coordinate document collection but do not certify compliance.
Prices, lead times and transport assumptions can change until confirmed by the contracting parties. Drawings, samples and specifications should carry revision identifiers. Changes after an agreed quotation may affect price, lead time and scope.
Inspection coordination does not replace a purchaser's independent acceptance process. Shipment timing depends on supplier completion, booking and customs procedures. The parties should agree the Incoterms, packing list, handoff point and required documents in writing.
We recommend keeping a written record of supplier responses, assumptions, exclusions and the version of every drawing or material schedule used to make a buying decision. Any inspection scope should identify who commissions the inspection, which units or materials are covered, the acceptance criteria and how nonconformities are resolved. A photograph or verbal confirmation alone may not establish that a shipped unit matches an approved sample.
